Arrows
rain from the sky, piercing dreams of rebellion. I remember when
freedom was more than whispered memories birthed silently as we
worked under the watchful water-masters, gathering drops of dew to
quench the king's thirst.
This was written for this week's Trifecta Writing Challenge. We were to use the words remember, rain and rebellion to create a 36 word piece.
