Raindrops

If rain held color, taste and smell, each drop would be a memory of you. But shattered raindrops run like tears and your image slowly blurs, like chalk paintings washed away in spring.

Gorgeous, Kelly. Each drop would be a memory of you is so sweet and full of longing.

Time heals and rounds the edges of pain. Very nicely done, Kelly.

I had a chalk painting by my niece all summer (no rain in CA in the summers). It recently washed away in the autumn rain. I watched it over the course of a couple of days. Makes this piece all the more exquisite with that memory.

Ah, Kelly, I can see, taste and smell the chalk paintings washing away.
What a beautiful connection - raindrop and memory.

Another vivid story. really liked the starting sentence "If rain held color, taste and smell, each drop would be a memory of you"!
